Muertos Bay Fly Fishing Report 4/25/23

Hello anglers! Here’s your fly fishing report for today, April 25th, 2023 in Muertos Bay, Baja California.

Sunrise will be at approximately 6:20 am local time. The air temperature is expected to be around 80°F (27°C) throughout the day. Water temperatures in the bay are currently around 75°F (24°C).

As for the tide schedule, high tide will be around 11:30 am and low tide will be around 5:30 pm.

The big roosterfish are still present in the bay and have been biting on a variety of flies including poppers, streamers, and Clousers. Dorado have also been biting and can be caught using small baitfish patterns or squid flies. Yellowtail can still be found in deeper waters and are taking streamers and baitfish patterns.

Overall, it’s looking like a great day for fly fishing in Muertos Bay. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, and plenty of water. Tight lines!
