Booking and Payment

When booking a reservation with El Gallo Fly Fishing Lodge, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The balance of the cost is due 60 days before the trip. This deposit is necessary to reserve your spot and cover administrative expenses. 

Transportation

We will have a shuttle at the airport mid-day on your arrival day. Customers are responsible for the cost of this shuttle; we will arrange for your pick up. This shuttle will be affordable if you can coordinate travel with other guests.  

Equipment Rental

We have rods, reels, lines, and flies available for purchase/rent. Rod, reel, and line combinations are available for $100 per day or $400 per week. For breakage, we charge $200 per incident for replacement. Please understand that this is our cost to replace and ship the equipment to our location.

Smoking and Pets Policy.

Sorry, but no smoking is allowed inside any El Gallo Fly Fishing Lodge Facility. No pets are allowed.

Alcohol Policy

We do not provide alcohol for our trips. We are strictly BYOB. The best plan is to pick it up duty-free at the airport, or our driver will be happy to stop on the way. Expect a limited availability of alcohol while in Muertos Bay.

Cancellations

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to cancel your reservation. You must realize that we have obligations as well. The 50% deposit made at the time of booking is non-refundable. If you must cancel your reservation after paying the deposit but before the remaining balance is due, we may consider transferring your deposit to a future booking outside 60 days of the original trip date, subject to availability. Cancellations within 60 days will forfeit the initial 50 % deposit.

Trip Changes and Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your trip, contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but rescheduling is subject to availability. Suppose El Gallo Fly Fishing needs to change your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. In that case, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative or provide a full refund of any payments made.

No-Show Policy

Please arrive at the scheduled meeting point on the day of your trip with prior notice to avoid the forfeiture of your deposit and cancellation of the trip. If your flight arrives late, please understand that you will be responsible for the cost of the transportation to get you to the lodge.

Weather and Safety

El Gallo Fly Fishing prioritizes your safety and the enjoyment of your trip. In the event of adverse weather conditions or other safety concerns, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the trip at our discretion. Your safety and the safety of our guides are our top priorities.

Liability

Participating in fly fishing involves inherent risks, and El Gallo Fly Fishing and its staff are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or property damage. By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge and assume these risks.
